Leaves fall onto the water's surface, and when the performance ends, another girl jumps out from the nearby bushes with stars in her eyes, saying "Would you like to start a band with me?" So Haniel sat in the park with her guitar for three whole months, with only cats as her audience… though cat audiences are pretty good too.

Whenever Haniel befriends small animals in the park, she makes a special bookmark for them, stamping their paws as keepsakes. These little travelers are always on the move. Who knows when they'll meet again? There's always one slightly worn bookmark in Haniel's books. It’s stamped with a black, somewhat incomplete kitten paw print, and the markings match the black and white bookmark. Haniel never became friends with this one… the cat was far too cautious. While the other cats happily shared the snacks Haniel brought, this one would always watch quietly from a distance. It still sleeps peacefully on the same little hillside. Haniel sometimes goes there to play guitar, even though she sounds terrible.
