Methodology

How the tiers are computed

Deterministic, transparent, no judgement.

The rules

  • InputThe number of published community teams (of 212) each hero appears in.
  • Fixed bandsS = 100+ · A = 40–99 · B = 15–39 · C = under 15. Identical every cycle.
  • ScopeRanked heroes are released heroes that have a hero guide AND appear in the community team-usage data — no unreleased placeholders. Released heroes without a guide, and heroes with zero recorded team usage, are not listed.
  • No opinionNo tier is hand-assigned; everything follows the numbers. Dated; recomputed on every update.

Quick answers

FAQ

Is this tier list an opinion?
No. Each tier is a fixed usage band (S 100+, A 40–99, B 15–39, C <15) applied to 212 real community teams. No tier is hand-assigned.
Is a C-tier hero bad?
No — it is barely present in the real meta, which is not the same as useless. Many shine in a specific niche; click the name for the full guide.
Why does it differ from the tier-list tool?
The /7dso/tier-list/ tool is a community vote (opinion). This page is the deterministic ranking by real usage. The two are complementary.
Is it current?
As of 2026-05-19. Recomputed on every data update; the page's modified date follows.
