What is Mongil: Star Dive?
Mongil: Star Dive is a free-to-play 3D RPG developed and published by Com2uS, the studio behind Summoners War. Players build a squad of stylized star-diving heroes and their collectible Monsterling companions, sweep through story chapters, and chase long-running endgame modes like Conquest and the Dimensional Rift for top-tier gear.
Each playable character belongs to one of five elements — Fire, Ice, Earth, Wind, and Lightning — and one of four roles — Fighter, Destroyer, Support, or Assassin. Character progression combines a canto skill tree, star-grade ascension, artifact set bonuses, and equipment gearing. Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and neutralization damage are the major stat levers, so rolling and refining your gear eventually matters as much as pulling new units.
Combat basics
Combat is real-time with a squad of up to four heroes. Each hero chains basic attacks, two active skills, and an ultimate, while the Monsterling companion triggers a link skill based on combat conditions. Element weaknesses apply on hit, and status effects like Stun and Stagger interrupt boss attacks, so bringing a mix of elements and roles is often more useful than stacking pure damage.
Characters, roles and elements
The four roles cover distinct jobs: Fighters sustain in melee, Destroyers push burst windows, Supports buff and heal, and Assassins chase weak points. The five elements don't form a strict rock-paper-scissors ring — they're used to match boss immunities and unlock Monsterling synergies. Ascending a character raises their star grade, unlocks new canto skill nodes, and improves base stats.
Monsterlings and fusion
Capture Monsterlings from the field, fuse pairs together to discover mutations, and equip one as your active companion. Link skills proc on specific triggers (critical hit, ultimate cast, dodge, etc.), so the companion is part of the build, not just flavor. The Fusion calculator shows all mutation combos, success rates, and reverse lookups so you can plan the full chain to a specific Monsterling.
Frequently asked
Is Mongil: Star Dive free to play?
Yes. The game is free to download on Android, iOS, and PC with optional gacha and cosmetic purchases. Every story chapter and endgame mode is accessible to free players.
How do I redeem codes in Mongil: Star Dive?
Open the in-game Menu, go to Settings → Coupon, and paste the code exactly as shown. Active codes are listed at the top of this page; they rotate, so check back before each play session.
What platforms support Mongil: Star Dive?
Android, iOS, and PC through an official launcher and emulator support. Progress is tied to your Com2uS Hive account, so you can switch devices freely.
How does Monsterling fusion work?
Select two Monsterlings as ingredients, run the fusion, and receive a result based on the recipe. Each combo has a defined success rate and a fixed mutation output for the primary result. Our Fusion calculator lists every combo, reverse-lookup by target, and which base Monsterlings you need to capture first.
Should I prioritize higher-rarity artifacts or fusion?
Both matter, but fusion effects scale heavily and often outperform raw rarity — this is why community guides recommend max-fusing a 4-star set before upgrading to a base 5-star one. The artifact pages on this wiki show every set bonus, fusion effect, and stat scaling side by side.
What are the best stats to roll?
Critical Rate is the most broadly impactful stat because many characters have passives that only proc on crits. After that, Critical Damage, ATK%, and neutralization damage are the most commonly prioritized depending on role. Character pages on this wiki list the recommended stat priority per role.
